Exotic Pet Care

Stoney Brook Veterinary Hospital offers basic care for a number of small mammals. Your exotic pet is unique and we understand the unique medical care he or she requires. If your pet requires an exotic specialist, we will guide you through the process.

We provide wellness exams and general husbandry consultations for rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets and hamsters. Stoney Brook Veterinary Hospital also provides the following specialty services:

• Rabbits: spays, neuters and nail trims.
• Guinea pigs: neuters and nail trims.
• Ferrets: nail trims and vaccinations.
• Rats & Hamsters: small mass removals and nail trims.
